The first big challenge of 2015

Many thanks to the cheerful marshals today, your help was much appreciated. It can't of been fun standing around in the wind giving the same advice to every rider, but you all did it will good humour. Chapeau to you all, and to all the other people who organised the event, I may not of had a smile on my face all of the time (I *hate* hills) but I enjoyed the day and realise that was down to the small army of volunteers that made it happen.

Just wanted to add my thanks for a great event yesterday. The KK was my first organised sportive and I really enjoyed it. Yes the 70 mile route was tough, and I didn't realise we had so many proper hills in North Kent, but the organisation, signage, marshalling and hospitality at the feed stops were spot on. Thanks very much!
